‘Digital Variance Angiography, a ground-breaking X-ray angiography innovation: dose management and quality enhancement by Kinepict Medical Imaging Tool — KMIT-ACC’

The European Innovation Council has awarded funding to support the development and commercialization of the Kinepict Medical Imaging Tool (KMIT), recognizing its potential to transform X-ray-based imaging in interventional radiology and vascular surgery.

The project titled "Digital Variance Angiography based real-time imaging solution for interventional radiology" was supported under the Hungarian PIACI KFI programme (Project ID: 2020-1.1.2-PIACI-KFI-2021-00230), enabling technical and clinical advancements

The project titled “Commercialization of a novel fluoroscopic and angiographic imaging software” was supported by the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office under the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Support Programme (Grant ID: KKV_15-1-2017-0006).

The funding contributed to preparatory activities for the European SME Instrument Phase 2 proposal and supported the early-stage validation of Kinepict’s imaging software concept.”

The project titled “Validation of a kinetic imaging process for medical use” received funding under the Hungarian Start-up_13 Technology Incubation Programme (Grant ID: START_UP_13-3-2016-0010), managed by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH).

The grant supported early-stage validation and ecosystem-building activities related to Kinepict’s innovation, contributing to the development of Hungary’s start-up ecosystem in medical imaging.

The project was supported by the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH) under the industrial property rights support scheme financed by the Research and Technological Innovation Fund (KTIA).

The grant aimed to strengthen the protection of Kinepict’s intellectual property, helping secure legal coverage for innovative medical imaging technology.
